What is Edroia?
Edroia is an independent software studio building focused, minimalist applications across Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and the web. Our portfolio spans mental mathematics (Matics, formerly Mathzen), typing speed training (Typing Practice), direct peer-to-peer file transfer (CrossSend), and clean document environments.
Which platforms are supported?
Our software is designed for broad cross-platform availability. Matics is available for Android and iOS, CrossSend supports desktop (Windows, macOS) and mobile operating systems, and Typing Practice is available directly in your web browser without installation.
Where is my data saved and how is privacy handled?
We prioritize user privacy and on-device data retention. Your personal statistics, typing performance benchmarks, and routine configurations are saved locally on your device or in your browser's local storage. We do not track or sell personal user inputs.
How does file sharing work in CrossSend?
CrossSend uses direct peer-to-peer local network communication. It connects devices over your local Wi-Fi or hotspot network, allowing you to transfer large batches of photos and files at maximum local speed without uploading them to external cloud servers.
How does Edroia Reader handle speech synthesis?
Edroia Reader processes text-to-speech audio via dedicated, high-efficiency cloud servers. This approach ensures studio-grade, human-like voice quality across all devices while preventing battery drain and performance slowdowns on mobile hardware.
